The Biden Administration's wide-open border policy will force city and county officials to cut vital city services to pay for this influx of new expenses. The brunt of this invasion has been the Great State of Texas.

STAGGERING COSTS

Healthcare impacts become heightened as we start the discussion of an invasion of illegal immigrants into Texas. This challenge was already at a tipping point in 2021 when the state shouldered $717 million for serving the healthcare needs of illegal immigrants (Source). The total annual impact for Texas is $8.88 billion (Source, Source).

Yuma County Supervisor Jonathan Lines recently testified to the House Homeland Security Committee that Yuma Regional Medical Center paid $26 million in uncompensated immigration expenses last year (Source).

New York City Mayor Eric Adams recently estimated his city alone will need to spend $2.8 billion in the next fiscal year to deal with the rapid influx of illegal immigrants (Source). Mayor Adams told New York’s Fox 5 that "We're not just saying we're out of room as a soundbite. We're out of room, literally. People are going to be eventually sleeping on the streets (Source)."
